Hastings Street Tour

This is a tour of Detroit's amazing Hastings Street and Paradise Valley. In the 1920's these
were the only areas in the city where blacks were allowed to own businesses. Consequently, they became the
entertainment districts of Detroit. In the 50's jazz
musicians would come here to see if they were any good.
We will driving up the street viewing the legendary
jazz clubs. Some blues was happening too. You will find that so much happened on Hastings Street, that a walk down it
could lead anywhere.
